There are many romantic movies out there, but how do you know which is the best one to choose?  Menchville students put forth their ideas as to which ones should be at the top of your watch list.  In no particular order, here are some Monarch favorites.

1. Titanic
This is considered by many to be one of the best romantic movies. Containing a cute couple and a tragedy, almost anyone would like it.

2. The Notebook
Be prepared for a flood of tears in this movie. While coming in second, some people say it could surpass Titanic in any romantic movie competition.

3. Breakfast at Tiffany’s
This movie is an all-time classic. It has won many awards and this is considered one of Audrey Hepburn’s best movies.

4. Romeo and Juliet
Romeo and Juliet, the ultimate love story. This Shakespeare classic will definitely appeal to a wide variety of people.

5. Roman Holiday
Yet another Audrey Hepburn classic. This movie definitely deserves its place on this list because of its talented cast.

6. The Princess Bride
This movie is an amazing adaption of the book, so if you love romances and princesses, you should check this movie out.

7. The Breakfast Club
While not the fist movie you think of when it comes to romance, The Breakfast Club most certainly fits this list in an amazing and exciting way.

8. Forrest Gump
This movie is one of Tom Hank’s most famous movies, and I think it’s his best. The story goes through so much; it’s wonderful to watch it unfold.

9. The Fault in our Stars
The Fault in our Stars, a major tear jerker. As one of the biggest movies in 2014, it’s hard not to enjoy this movie, even if it’s just a little.
