The Lady Monarch’s  varsity field hockey team won their Conference Tournament game against Bethel last night 13-0. Tonight will be their semi-final game against Nansemond River at Gloucester High School. The following players were selected for the All-Conference Team:

Jessica von Schmidt-Pauli -1st team mid-field
Heather Andresen – 1st team defense

Jenna Harlow -2nd team forward
Brittany Oliver -2nd team mid-field
Angelica Florendo -2nd team defense
Emma Ferguson -2nd team defense
Julia Cook -2nd team goal keeper
Rebecca Cody -HM defense

Also, Sophomore Morgan Merritt was named  PLAYER OF THE YEAR for the  conference.
