After a long hiatus, Sam Smith has returned with his single “Too Good At Goodbyes,” released September 8, 2017.  The music video  was published on Youtube on September 18, 2017  and it has  over 65 million of views. It is the first single to be released from his highly anticipated second album which is The Thrill Of It All set to be released later this year. This song is available on iTunes, Spotify, and Amazon.

When I first saw the music video I was really impressed because it was really different because it caught my attention once I hit play. It caught my attention because his voice is breathtaking. Every time when Sam Smith opens his mouth and sings I feel like he’s always telling a story in his music.  In the video he is for sure telling a story because the people  in it are trying to prove that everyone goes through a hard time in their lifetime. The video showed different people going through something personal and they are trying it hold it together. The music video was beautiful and very emotional. Sam Smith never fails to impress me with his voice and songs.

My favorite line  in the song is “Every time you hurt me, the less that I cry And every time you leave me, the quicker these tears dry And every time you walk out, the less I love you.” I like that line because its something I can connect to in my life because people in my life always come and go. Listening to this song tells me that its going to be okay when someone leaves you.

Sam Smith’s voice is soothing and he is an phenomenal  singer.”Too Good at Goodbyes” is the theme song of my love life. This song is literally going to be my repeat song from now on. If you haven’t listened to this song I highly recommend you do because Sam Smith is so talented, and his voice comes directly from heaven.  I cannot wait for his album to come out!
