“Insidious: The Last Key” is a 2018 American supernatural horror film directed by Adam Robitel and written by Leigh Whannell. It is produced by Jason Blum, Oren Peli, and James Wan. It is the fourth installment in the Insidious franchise, and the second in terms of the series’s in-story chronology. Insidious premiered on January 5, 2018.

The cast for the movie includes: Lin Shaye (Elise Rainier), Leigh Whannell (Specs), Angus Sampson (Tucker), Kirk Acevedo (Ted Garza), Caitlin Gerard (Imogen Rainierz), Spencer Locke (Melissa Rainer), Josh Stewart (Gerald Rainier)

Insidious the “Last Key” is a pretty good horror movie. If you enjoy the previous installments to the series you will enjoy this one. The plot is solid and gives you the same thing as past movies but still manages to be somewhat fresh. Insidious the Last Key manages to find a healthy balance between jump-scare and creepy scare which I also found pleasing.

The “Last Key” gives a thrilling final ride with strong character development and a perfect bridging story line. Although there were a few times the story seemed to be on a low for a bit to long, it made the series end on a good key. This is  a thrilling movie that will give you the chills at night!
