With Spring Break coming up,  and free time without homework on the horizon, here are some newest additions to Netflix worth watching.



Coraline is a 2009 American 3D stop-motion dark fantasy based on Neil Gaiman’s 2002 novel. The film was released widely in United States theaters on February 6, 2009. Coraline won Annie Awards for best music, character design, production design and received Academy Award.

 Pete’s Dragon



Pete’s Dragon is 2016 American Fantasy comedy-drama adventure film directed by David Lowery. Pete’s Dragon premiered at the El Capitan Theatre on August 8, 2016. The film received positive reviews from critics and has grossed $143 million worldwide against a $65 million production budget.

The Great Gilly Hopkins


The Great Gilly Hopkins is a 2015 American comedy-drama film directed by Stephen Herek and written by David L. Paterson. It is based on Katherine Paterson’s 1978 children’s book of the same name. The film was released on October 7, 2016, by Lions-gate Premiere.

Midnight In Paris


Midnight In Paris is a 2011 American-French romantic comedy film written and directed by Woody Allen. In 2012, the film won both the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay and the Golden Globe Awards. It premiered at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival and was released in the United States on May 20, 2011.

Full Out: The Ariana Berlin Movie, is a 2016 drama young-adult TV movie based on the life story of American gymnast. Ana Golja received a 2016 Canadian Screen Awards nomination for Best Performance in a Children’s or Youth Program or Series.
