Jessie James Decker is an American country/pop singer-songwriter. Her album’s first single, “Wanted”, produced by Mitch Allan, was released in April – peaking at number forty on the Billboard Hot 100.  It was first released to American Contemporary Hit Radio through Mercury Records on April 14, 2009, the album’s lead single later being released to digital retailers on May 12.

This year, Decker released an EP album called “Gold,” including songs like,  “Shoot Out the Lights,” “Girl on the Coast,” “Too Young to Know,” “Lights Down Low,” and “Gold.”

Personally, my favorite song on the album is Gold because its very soft in sound, and Decker delivers a message about having a lover sitting with her friends and family. My favorite verse in the song is when she says “Every single day I pray I always give enough.” That part speaks to me because it shows that she has strong faith in God, and doesn’t give up.
