Joining the Menchville Rocks 2017 lineup this year will be guitar-vocal senior duo, Jasmine Star and Jack Leitner. Star will be lending her voice to the Sublime hit “Santeria,” while Leitner accompanies on guitar.

This will be the first performance for Star and Leitner- who have only been playing together since Menchville Rocks auditions started. However, the two are hardly strangers to the arts. Star is an artist, and Leitner loves anything to do with music and guitar.

Star is new to Menchville this year, and seeing as it is her final year of high school, she wanted to take this opportunity to get involved. “I really wanted to do Menchville Rocks since this is the last time I’ll have to do it,” Star said. “I’m glad I’m doing something before I graduate.”

Star and Leitner are feeling good going into their performance on February 16^th at Menchville Rocks. There are some nerves about playing in front of such a large crowd, but the two seniors are happy to seize this last opportunity to perform in Menchville Rocks.
