Menchville Track Team Advances to State
The following members of the Menchville track team will be advancing the State Meet on the weekend of March 6/7:
Jada Key- Placed first in the 300 meter dash with a record time of 40.28 seconds. She also placed 8th in the high jump with a jump of 4 feet, 8 inches.
Jermyriah Jones- Placed 8th in the 500 meter dash with a time of 1 minute, 20 seconds.
Jada Key, December Hutchinson, Danyetta Ruffin, and Jermyriah Jones- This 4 by 2 relay team placed 5th with a time of 1 minute, 45 seconds.
Jada Key, Jermyiah and Jermyriah Jones, and Briana Hunter- This 4 by 4 relay team placed 2nd with a time of 4 minutes, 2 seconds.
The girls track team will advance to State this weekend at the Boo Williams Sportsplex. Best of luck to all competing!
