The Menchville girls volleyball team has had a great season. Going almost undefeated throughout the normal season and not dropping a set during regionals, the girls were unstoppable. However, all good things came to an end and the Menchville girls lost to First Colonial. The first round of states ended with a score of 3-1, Menchville didn’t have the best game but a great season.
The Menchville girl’s team did phenomenal this season. Going undefeated and not dropping a set to any Peninsula District teams, the Menchville team has dominated the court in every way. One of their biggest challenges this year in the normal season was the Warwick Raiders. A tough game for them, however they were able to beat the raiders 3-0. With the win streak they had, they had a 100% chance of getting into and winning regionals.
The regional season was just as good as the normal one. Just like the normal season, regionals were just as entertaining for Menchville fans to watch and cheer on the players. With all their games being wins for the Monarchs, there was no denying that the girls had a clear shot to states.
They may have been defeated this year, but next year we will come out stronger. With the loss to the First Colonial pushing them out of states, the girls need to regroup and push harder next year. Their coaches have a great way of connecting with new players and teaching them everything they need to know about the game. The Menchville girls volleyball 2025 team will be looking strong and ready to dominate the game.
