Out of 22 total high school teams, Menchville performed well. The event had a great turnout with many spectators cheering on their respective teams. Menchville’s senior swimmers were grateful they were able to compete in the event for the last time, however, other schools such as Tabb High School, Hampton Roads Academy, and Peninsula Catholic were unable to attend this year’s event. The event provided the swimmers with preparation for their regional and state championships. The regional championship will take place on February 10, 2022, at Midtown Aquatic Center and the state championship will be held in Stafford, VA at the Jeff Rouse Swim and Sport Center on February 19, 2022.
