Senior Janelle Freeman and junior La’kayla Godley will be joining forces as an R&B duo for the 2018 Menchville Rocks. Their music selection is still under wraps, but the two say they are eager to perform at this Menchville tradition.

Freeman has performed publicly onstage before for Menchville school concerts. The other half of this musical duo, Godley, has only performed for a Menchville audience during the school’s spring talent show, Menchville’s Got Talent. The pair is not too nervous, though, because it is not their first time performing in front of large crowds together. Freeman and Godley have sung at churches and other schools together.

The Freeman-Godley music duo should bring a great show to the Menchville community because, in the words of Freeman, “it’s something we love doing.”
