Guitarist and singer Evan Gray will be showing off his musical prowess at his first Menchville Rocks performance this year. Gray will be performing “Wagon Wheel” by Darius Rucker, “Need the Sun to Break” by James Bay, and “Show You” by Shawn Mendes.

Gray started playing music because his dad was into music and his brother started singing. Said Gray, “I wanted to be a part of that.” Now he enjoys playing and listening to a variety of music, and he thinks his performance selections reflect that.

Gray says he is nervous about the concert. but he enjoys performing. He has played at open mic nights and also performed at Menchville’s Got Talent freshmen year. On Thursday, February 22, Gray will add “Menchville Rocks Performer” to his performance credits.
