American Horror Story (season 6) began on FX on September 14, 2016 and the finale is scheduled to air on November 16, 2016. This season has 12 episodes just like all the other seasons. Returning cast members include: Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Denis O’Hare, Kathy Bates, Frances Conroy, Angela Bassett, Wes Bentley, Lady Gaga, Cheyenne Jackson, Leslie Jordan and Adina Porter. The new characters: Dominic Banks played by Cuba Gooding Jr. and Matt Miller played by André Holland.

The sixth season is a total mystery and it’s very different from the other seasons. American Horror Story: Roanoke parodies reality TV while also showcasing darker and more sinister Roanoke ghosts.  Each actor this season portrays two different characters – the “real” person they are in the show and the person they represent  in the faux-documentary.  The documentary is about Shelby and Matt Miller and Lee Harris’s nightmare experience in the Roanoke house.
