The Menchville Boy’s won in a thrilling overtime battle, March 29th, against the Warwick Raiders.  Senior Giovanni Zagursky saved the Monarchs in the last second of the second overtime with his stellar third goal of the game.  At half time the Monarchs trailed the Raiders 3-0, but the Monarchs came out strong to tie it up with goals from seniors Daniel Deanhoffer and  Zagursky (two).  The Raiders managed to rally up another goal to make it 4-3, but the Monarch’s Taylor Fitzgerald scored with two minutes left in regulation to make the score 4-4.  The game went into double over time, and once again with only seconds left in the last five minute over time period, Zagursky scored the winning goal that defeated the Raiders.

The girl’s Varsity team also gathered a 6-1 win against the Warwick Raiders with Monarch goals from Alexis Fabila (three), Nelia Perez, and Gillian Niesel.
