Last weekend, (M)Pulse traveled to Clover Hill High School, just outside of Richmond. For the group, it was a long Saturday filled with simultaneous excitement and fatigue, as the girls arrived to begin getting ready at Menchville at 5:15 AM and did not return until almost 2:00 AM on Sunday. The boys got a little more sleep, arriving at school at 6:30 to begin to load the truck with equipment, sets, and costumes. After they got ready, they were on their way. Competition was fierce, but (M)Pulse excelled, beating all the groups in their division to receive first place for the B division. Additionally, they got awarded with first place stage crew and fourth place overall after performing again in the finals. It was a successful weekend for (M)Pulse; now, they head into another week of rehearsing to prepare for the competition this weekend at Powhatan High School.
