Freshman Sam Cornette will also be gracing the stage on Thursday, February 25^th. Cornette’s act will consist of him playing an ensemble of different blues guitar songs inspired by music he heard throughout his childhood.

In his free time, Cornette enjoys playing guitar and improvising new licks and riffs, as well as lifting weights.

Cornette described his act as having a “different, unique type of bluesy feel.”

“Being towards the end of the show, (hopefully), I think my act will inspire a few people to give blues a chance, maybe inspire some people to listen to a collection of different songs they may not be familiar with.
