The newest Avengers movie came out May 1st and it caused a mixture of emotions. Ultimately, the movie was really good; all of Marvel movies are action packed and cause the audience members to feel all types of emotions. Avengers: Age of Ultron wrecked all kinds of havoc but before we get into that lets get into some key moments that made these Marvel fans shocked to the core.
First, we’ll start with the one happy-ish thing that happened: Hawkeye has a family. Yes, Hawkeye have a wife and three kids that live on this secluded farm. During the movie the other Avengers joke about him being single but just like the audience they were thoroughly shocked to meet his family. This also has a sad tone for all those Natasha and Barton shippers out there. But its ok Natasha is his kid’s Godmother.
Next, is the budding romance between…Natasha and Banner. Yes, Black Widow and Hulk become a thing in this movie. Even though we never saw Natasha’s attraction for Banner in the first movie or we always assumed her and Barton had a thing. This shocked fans more than Hawkeye’s family. It was just kind of happened out of nowhere, one movie they were friends and the sequel they were kind of together. It doesn’t matter anyway since Banner left her. Yes, in the midst of them getting together he decides to fly off in a little plane leaving Natasha alone, wondering if he’s ever going to come back.
Lastly, the worst thing that could of ever happened in a Marvel movie happened in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Pietro “Quicksilver” Maximoff twin brother to Wanda “Scarlet Witch” Maximoff dies a heroic death. Quicksilver risked his life to save Hawkeye and a little boy. This death not only hurt his twin sister but also the fans. Even though he started off as a villain, he changed his ways to help save the people. You couldn’t help but fall in love with his character. But the director, Joss Whedon, revealed that on the Blu-Ray DVD of the movie there is an alternative ending where Quicksilver lives plus other deleted scenes.
Overall, the movie was fantastic and action-packed. It was really funny to see the Avengers interact with each other and see just how witty each character can be. I definitely recommend seeing this movie.
