If you love Disney villains and you love Disney’s live-action movies you might want to watch Disney’s new original channel movie Descendants. Yes, its true Disney is finally making a movie about some of their most iconic villains: Maleficent (Kristin Chenoweth), Jafar (Maz Jobrani), the Evil Queen (Kathy Najimy), and Cruella de Vil (Wendy Raquel Robinson) but its not going to focus on them. It follows the teenage kids of the villains: Mal (Dove Cameron) the daughter of Maleficent, Carlos (Cameron Boyce) the son of Cruella de Vil, Evie (Sofia Carson) the daughter of the Evil Queen, and Jay (Booboo Stewart) the son of Jafar.

In Descendants, Belle (Keegan Connor Tracy) and the Beast (Dan Payne) are the king and queen and their son, Ben (Mitchell Hope), is about to take the throne. His first act as king is to un-banish some of the villain’s children who have been exiled to the Isle of the Lost. The villain kids attend the hero kids’ prep school along side Princess Audrey (Sarah Jeffery) the daughter of Aurora and Prince Phillip, Prince Chad Charming (Jedidiah Goodacre) the son of Cinderella and Prince Charming, Aziz (Dejan Loyola) the son of Aladdin and Jasmine, Lonnie (Dianne Doan) the daughter of Fa Mulan and Li Shang, and Jane (Brenna D’Amico) the daughter of the Fairy Godmother and proceed to wreck havoc.

Directed and choreographed by High School Musical’s own Kenny Ortega this movie is bound to have some great musical numbers. It premieres in the summer, perfect for having a viewing party with your Disney fanatic friends. So, are you going to watch your favorite villains kids wreck havoc on the hero kid’s prep school?
