Spider-Man: The Avenger
Calling all Marvel fanatics Spider-Man is going to be in the Avengers, I repeat Spider-Man is going to be in The Avengers. Thanks to a new deal between the comics’ giants and Sony Pictures Entertainment, who owns the rights the character, Spider-Man will be joining The Avengers. The two studios’ will cast a new Spider-Man/Peter Parker for the new movie slated for release on July 28th, 2017, though no decisions have been made yet.
Since Marvel is set to bring the mid-2000s “Civil War” comics to the movies next year, its likely that Spider-Man is going to make his first appearance in Captain America: Civil War, coming to theaters in May 2016. Since Spider-Man’s return to Marvel, he has forced Marvel and Disney to change there packed movie schedule. Thor: Ragnarok will now open November 3rd, 2017 instead of July 28th, 2017; Black Panther will open July 6th, 2018 instead of November 3rd, 2017; Captain Marvel will open November 2nd, 2018 instead of July 6th, 2018; and Inhumans has been pushed back to July 12th, 2019 instead of November 2nd, 2018. Marvel is still preparing to the release of the Defenders franchise, a new TV series on Netflix that starts on April 10th with the premiere of Daredevil. Marvel will also release Avengers: Age of Ultron on May 1st.
Hopefully with this new Spider-Man movie and his addition to The Avengers it will finally end the big debate: whether Spider-man would be a good enough super hero to join The Avengers.
