Menchville Guitar Concert Preview
On Thursday, May 25th, Menchville will be hosting their first independent guitar concert in over three years.
After the Covid-19 Pandemic led Menchville’s old guitar teacher to leave the school, the guitar program began a rebuilding period. A new teacher came in during the middle of the 2021-2022 school year, after students had been left without a teacher for basically the whole first semester, and, after getting a year with the guitar program under his belt, now has the class back to the place that it used to be at.
The guitar class performed with the Menchville Orchestra at Menchville’s Winter Concert, participated in the Tidewater Guitar Festival, and now will be hosting their own concert which will include performances from both the beginning and advanced guitar classes, and some solo and small group student performances.
The concert will take place at 7pm in the Mencvhille auditorium on May 25th, and entrance is free.
