5 Ways to Celebrate Valentines Day
Valentine’s day is only four days away and everyone is rushing and panicking because they don’t know what to get for their significant other or loved one. Since this Valentine’s Day will be different from the other past Valentines days, here are some ideas of how to celebrate Valentine’s day this year:
Make Valentine’s Day cards and drop them off at your loved one’s/significant other’s house.
Just like when you were in school you can make Valentine’s day cards for all your loved ones/significant others with a little heartfelt message with some candy included. Then, you can go drop this off at their house, this little act of kindness will show how much you appreciate and love them.
Take a walk with your loved one, preferably outside.
You can take a walk with your loved ones wherever you want to walk. While you’re walking with your loved one you can talk about whatever is on your mind. This will show how much you love and care about each other.
Prepare a special meal or dessert
For dinner, you can make your loved one’s favorite meal or dish with their favorite dessert. This can be done virtually or with your loved one living with you. This way it will be much safer than going to a restaurant and will be less expensive. This will also show your loved ones how much you care for them.
Plan a special movie or game night
You and your loved ones can have a special movie night at home. The movie can be any genre, but a romance movie would be preferable to help set a romantic and loving tone for Valentine’s Day. This will also provide for you and your loved one to cuddle or snuggle next to each other providing a tender moment. You can also do a game night with your loved one to bring out the enthusiastic and competitive side of each other.
Have a picnic outside if it’s warm
You can go have a picnic outside with your loved ones in a park or wherever you’d like if the weather is warm where you live. You and your loved one can bring whatever foods and beverages you would like. You can also bring other activities to help make your picnic more fun and entertaining. This will be a fun opportunity for both of you and will provide extra bonding time with each other.
All of these ideas will help you have a nice, fun, and safe Valentine’s day. Just make sure that whenever you’re together you wear a mask and social distance by staying six feet apart. Have a happy Valentine’s day!
