Results of the Virtual Menchville’s Got Talent Show
Menchville’s virtual talent show has come to an end despite having to overcome many technical difficulties, including a delay in release because the video refused to post to Youtube. Fare Share, the student organization sponsoring the talent show, deemed it a huge success. The video has over 2000 views.
Fourteen acts were submitted through video and posted online, and viewers cast votes for the first, second, and third place winners. In first place was Sophomore Reagan Zins, who performed an original song called “Your Mind.” Following in second place was Junior Chandler Mullins, who performed a jazz song on his saxophone. Finally, in third place was Junior Trevin Rounds, performing an original song called “Lost Again.” First, second, and third-place winners received gift cards with values of $15, $10, and $5, respectively.
The Fare Share team posted on their social media accounts after the show that they “would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who donated to THRIVE Peninsula,” and shared that donations to THRIVE during the show totaled to about $325.
