Menchville Band performs Winter Concert
The Menchville Auditorium came alive and Christmas music filled the air as Menchville’s Concert and Symphonic Bands performed their annual holiday concert on Tuesday, December 11th. The Concert band started off the performance with Three Moods of Hanukkah and A Fireside Christmas. This beautiful performance left many people in the audience clapping enthusiastically. The Concert band was later joined on-stage by the Symphonic Band to perform a song for their upcoming trip to Rome, Hallelujah, which they will play at the New Year’s Parade. The two bands blended well together and many families in the audience enjoyed the song. Finally, the Symphonic Band concluded the concert with the Emperata Overture, Stille Nacht, which is a modified version of Silent Night, and a crowd favorite, Sleigh Ride.
