Spring Sports Coach Reports – May 1
Menchville teams continued to have success on Tuesday.
Varsity Baseball
The Monarchs beat Kecoughtan 12-2. Ahmaad Goldson was the winning pitcher. The entire team played great baseball and with the Coach Forbes reached win number 400.
Varsity Softball
The Softball team defeated Kecoughtan 3-0 to improve to 11-4. Sarah Johnson pitched a 3-hit shut-out and Kayelyn Elliot, Jenna McCaffrey and Ashley Dodson had an RBI each.
Girl’s Tennis
The Girls Tennis Team defeated Heritage yesterday 8-1. Matches were won by Caletha Vick, Kayleigh Miller, Abigail Rose, Hannah Jahmarkt, Hannah Dahl and Nicole Bell. The team is undefeated for the season, with
Boy’s Soccer and Girl’s Soccer
The Varsity Soccer team defeated Kecoughtan 3-1. Scoring for the Monarchs were Grant Blevins, Lamar Lovelace and Purnell Jahvin.
The Girl’s Varsity Soccer team won over Kecoughtan 2-1. Helen Grenoble and Sydney Price had goals for the Monarchs.
