About Us

The Lion’s Roar is a student produced  publication for Menchville High School students, faculty, alumni, parents and the local community.  Established as a print newspaper in 1972, it was also published as a news magazine in 1978.  Current publications under the Lion’s Roar umbrella include the online news site at www.mhslionsroar.com and the quarterly news magazine “The Lion’s Roar”  – introduced in the Fall of 2014.

The views expressed on this website are those of the authors, and are not necessarily those of Lion’s Roar editorial team or Menchville High School.  We try to make sure the information we provide is accurate, however, mistakes do occur.  Please report errors to us, and we will investigate and issue a retraction or re-edit material to insure accuracy.
