Stranger Things Welcomes Back With A Spooky Season
Stranger Things is an American science fiction-horror web television series created, written, directed and co-executive produced by the Duffer Brothers, as well as co-executive produced by Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen. The second season was released on Netflix on October 27. There are 9 episodes and they are about 40 minutes long each.
The cast for the show includes: Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Joyce (Winona Ryder), Will (Noah Schnapp), Chief Hopper (David Harbour), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton)
It’s incredible that a kid who was missing for the entire first season is now the star of Stranger Things 2, but here we are, and Noah Schnapp is owning every second of his time as Will. We get a lot more Will than we did before.
One thing this season does better than the first is the character dynamics. There is also strong character development for a couple characters, especially Steve, Eleven, Jonathan, Nancy and Will who are all given more to do this season. I liked every character that survived into this season, especially Steve, who for me, has matured into a more caring and thoughtful person. Season 2 keeps up with the original tone and builds upon the previous season letting the characters develop naturally.
I can safely say I really loved this season. The acting, atmosphere, writing and visuals are all top notch. Season 2 of Stranger Things is very, very good and at times, even better than season 1. Season 2 continues the fun and creepy story lines that captivated us in the first season. Stranger Things 2 is a phenomenal follow up to an already great story. Another great season of this great show, Stranger Things is still proving itself to be one of the best shows out there!
