Anti-Bullying Activities Planned for the Week of November 13th
Anti-Bullying Prevention Week took place October 23-27, but due to spirit week falling the same week, we will stand against bullying the week of November 13,2017 through November 17,2017. Our Student Support Specialist and Anti-Bullying week coordinator, Ms.Terri Keesse, has taken part in organizing our activities. She states, “Anti-Bullying Week sends a clear and positive message that bullying is neither acceptable nor inevitable in our schools and communities.” For more information on Anti-Bullying Prevention Month visit stompoutbullying.org.
Anti-Bullying Week Activities:
- Monday, November 13- Pledge to stop bullying! A table with a banner will be set up outside the cafeteria allowing students and staff to sign a pledge to stop bullying.
- Tuesday, November 14- Black out to bullying! We encourage all of Menchville to “black” out bullying. Come decked out in black.
- Wednesday, November 15- All students, faculty, and staff wear Orange for Unity day.
- Thursday, November 16- Team up against bullying! Come prepared to wear your favorite jersey to fight against bullying.
- Friday, November 17- Monarchs against bullying! Wear your Menchville gear to show that we, as a school, come together to make our school a bully-free zone.
