Menchville Takes on the Polar Plunge 2016
On Saturday February 6, 2016, the annual Polar Plunge was held on the Virginia Beach oceanfront to benefit the Special Olympics and its athletes. In order to participate, every person had to raise at least $100. The money raised goes on to fund one Special Olympic athlete and makes it possible to participate in the games. Several Monarchs participated and represented Menchville as they took the plunge and got freezing for a reason. All together as a group, the Monarchs raised over $2,300 for an amazing cause. Way to go Monarchs!
