Athlete of the Week for Girl’s Basketball is Adria Strothers. On Tuesday, December 1st, Strothers scored 18 points against Woodside with the final score of 48-63 Woodside. On Friday, December 4th, Strothers scored 31 points against Phoebus to lead the Monarchs to a win of 65-55.

Adria Strothers’ goal this season is to “win a conference championship.”

Her favorite thing to do other than play basketball is to “hangout with my friends.”

Adria Strothers,committed to graduate in 2016, has accepted a scholarship to Hampton University to play basketball. She would like to major in athletic training when she begins her fall semester at Hampton University.
