Menchville’s Criminal Justice Club Recognized by NNPD

Menchville’s first Criminal Justice Club

On Thursday, June 2nd, in an end of year celebration, Menchville’s Criminal Justice club was recognized by the Newport News Police Department and Police Chief Richard W. Myers.  After receiving certificates of completion for their hard work this year, the members enjoyed a breakfast banquet and were given the opportunity to mingle with attending officers and detectives.

“Chatting with the attending officers and detectives was meant to encourage members who want to become police officers and kind of walk them through the steps needed to pursue that ambition,” said Menchville’s Officer James Greenhow.
